Yes, we have no bananas....

Yesterday, I went to Target to get stuff and get bananas. Um..so what happened to all the bananas ? Was there a "banana sale"?

Did people possibly think that the Target located 2 miles from my house was in fact "the banana stand"? Did people just go insane ripping apart the banana stand throwing bananas on the ground destroying them all to get to "the money" ? Target, what happened to the bananas ?
surprised I am not at the bar....

Went to the museum today to shadow a docent. I have been trained to take small children and show them animals, but not older kids. So, I drove down there (keep in mind its 45 minutes away) and it turns out that the kids were 4 years old. I shadowed the docent and then later went to lunch across the way.

I hung out with my favorite bartender. He's funny, he thinks I used to chat it up at bars when I was younger. I said " Um, no I was a dancer". I think I had drinks clubbing twice...and I have to say I don't do well in public intoxicated. I don't dance well, and I tended to say things that I regretted later. Example " You are really hot, if your girlfriend ever leaves you, I think you should date me". Yeah, keep in mind also that it was dark, and I probably had my glasses off and couldn't see this guy.  My other favorite thing to do was walk around and compliment guys on their ties. Yes, there was a time in the 80's...where young men wore ties.
yes, they all look like this....

What else ? Ah yes, I lost my job and got a new one. Oddly enough, this job does not pay either. I am going to be the class room mother for one of the twins. She said that nobody had stepped up to the challenge. Since I am totally insane, I volunteered.... It will be me and a lot of ladies sized 6 with bleached blonde hair,  bleached teeth, lipstick and high heels. Um, why do people wear high heels to registration ? Wow, I wonder if I am just old and frumpy or just intelligent enough not to walk the halls of an elementary school trying to impress other mothers ? I miss Danville...the income was the same, but people were far more calmer. Oh, and also running and tennis clothes are also socially acceptable....grrrr..whatever !!!
OUCH about those overalls....

I think I need lessons on programing music into my iPhone. I was driving to and from the museum today and for some reason all the songs that I DID NOT want on my phone were playing. You know: The Carpenters, The Sound of Music Soundtrack, Deolinda, The Glee Soundtrack...how does this happen ? Being stuck in traffic in Atlanta listening to Karen Carpenter sing "Jambalyaya (on the Bayou)" can drive one insane...well. perhaps I am already there :)
