#1  My mother has always been a huge fan of the Fine Arts. She has always been a big influence on my passion of dancing, music and art.
#2 My mother has a giantic library at her home. Which in turn has caused me to believe it is important to own books. Her books have always been classics and books on English Literature, Maps, and Art, etc. She has inspired me to read, and travel travel travel.
#3 My mother is a World Traveler. She has been to China, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, and Croatia. She has been all over the US including Alaska and Hawaii several times.
#4 My mother is very opinionated, and  has been correct about every boyfriend I had growing up...except one...which we call Voldemort because he must never be named.
#5 My mother and I have a very close relationship. She is mother and my best friend. She tolerated my teen and young adult years without killing me. She has always provided a sense of security for me and protected me.
#6  My favorite things I did with my mother growing up were : Dancing to New Order in the kitchen, dragging her to Stoneridge Mall, long walks, playing Skip Bo, laughing...lots and lots of laughing, playing whiffle ball with the neighborhood in the back yard, shooting hoops in the front yard, forcing all of my boyfriends to hang with my mom so she could analyze them.
#7 My mother always fed us a variety of food which included : Sardines, liver, liverwurst, waxed beans, butterbeans, etc. We tried ALL of it ! Which is what a good mother should do ! My mother was the QUEEN of casseroles.
#8 We never had any money growing up and my sister and I never knew it.
#9 She is an amazing quilter
#10 Loved my trip to Utah driving through the desert, collecting knick knacks along the way, eating soft cone ice creams and listening to Blue Savannah by Erasure....
