So, I guess it would make an appropriate Mother's Day. They bought me a small stuffed minion with one eye. In the next few weeks the erg arrives...

I had sent the Queen Elizabeth II  a birthday card with a small bookmark in it. I figured that she gives many of the gifts..maybe all of them to charity...but would she donate a bookmark ? My friend told me to frame it ? What do I keep sending Queen Elizabeth Cards so that I can frame all of the return letters from her ladies in waiting ?? It went up there with Kate and Wills collector "postcard" I received from them. Not at all not appreciative for the response letter since it appears the LIW was in a rush to get it in the mail. The first one is sufficient for me.

I worked pretty hard in delivering my tour to my family this weekend. They were not at all happy hearing " Hi, my name is Gretchen and I am a volunteer docent". Yeah, I am getting pretty sick of saying it myself too, but practice makes perfect right ? I need strangers to present it to !   The ship above not on my tour, but when looking at this in an art book the details were amazing. No, I wouldn't buy it either....

What else ? Yeah, Mother's Day....Um I went to the Original Pancake House and had breakfast. They have the an awesome menu of breakfast items including German and Dutch pancakes. I later wanted to go to the museum but the girls refused. So, we all ended up going to the library and checked out books. It's not the Mother's Day that I wanted, but its better than all the other ones spent in the ER.

I failed to mention that we did go to G's house for an hour . She has boxes ready to be packed ! The girls gave her a funny home made card and a device that makes noises...likes farts and burps and applause.  I am sure if she wasn't working she would be playing with it right now....
