Christian Shopping in the Bible Belt Day 1

Today I visited NORTHMINSTER Presbyterian Church in Roswell. It was the holiday program so it was a little different than your typical Sunday. We arrived at 10 and met my friend Nancy in the entry. Miss Nancy showed us where the pancake breakfast was. We paid about $11 and had three pancakes, two pieces of bacon and fruit. Now, was important the prices of the food ? No, but I am putting down anyway. It was nice there were a lot of people there. We then took the kids to the kiddy area and attended a birthday party for Jesus. They decorated birthday hats, heard the story of the candy cane, and heard some stories. After the birthday party was over we entered into the sanctuary for the program. We sang songs, and listened to the story of Jesus told in John and Luke.  I liked that they listed the scriptures and songs they were singing. I liked that they had a nice choir and a childrens choir. The kids wore robes. I have never attended a church where the kids wore choir robes. They had musical instruments that included bells, percussion, and strings. It was VERY nice. I would like to return for a typical Sunday. Kudos to Nancy for hanging with me and my crazy kids !
