Okay, to be perfectly honest, I don't like the holidays. I think because around any holiday be it Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas at my home it was not that nice. My mother hated having her picture taken, Alison and I would fight about gifts, and my father was always in a cranky mood. Alison would get excited and have an asthma attack and we would end up driving our in our Mustang to Kaiser Hospital in Walnut Creek. Many holidays were spend in the emergency room.

When I got married and having kids it just became more depressing for me. I just can't see the happiness and joy when my kids are opening gifts. The true meaning of Christmas ...the celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ...well its nowhere to be found. So, it's frustrating and it just makes me depressed. I am trying my hardest to be happy this Christmas since it seems more depressing than others. I am without family and close friends. I don't know what to expect....my expectations are so great in life that I should really stop watching movies and reading books about what life is really not about.
