In a Lonely Place

Yesterday I decided to visit the London Museum. I wasn't feeling good and think that I am coming down with a cold. So, I was grumpy to begin with. I got on a late train into Marylebone and ended up having to stand for 20  minutes. Apparently, everyone had the same idea as me to go out to London on a Sunday afternoon. I of course knew that because this train was packed then the tube train was going to be back because there is only one tube route that runs through Marylebone which is the Bakerloo train. So, I stood only to the Baker Street station and then took the Metropolitan line to the London Museum. If you have small children the London Museum is perfect. I on the other had was alone. So, I walked around for about 2 hours hearing other children scream and watching them run around. The parents trying to explain things that were WAY OVER THEIR HEAD. Lady, 6 year old boys don't care about dresses of the Victorian Era. Anyway, the exhibits were quite nice and focused a lot on the pre historic and ancient Roman times of London. I tend forget the Romans were here.
I snapped at a lady who did not want me to get ahead of her in the cue when I simply wanted to wash my hands. I wasn't that mean because I don't have the ability to be that mean to anyone. I had just had it with some of the poshness and stupidity of some people. Shoving, not being polite, and men just being selfish and un gentlemen like. I especially hate seeing people being rude to seniors. Oh that really ticks me off and of course being an ass to them doesn't help either. I guess they have crappy parents who fail to teach them respect to ladies or the elderly. Blah Blah Blah !!!
Anyway, London Museum okay.....would rather have stayed at home and read about the Mitford Sisters. Watching those couples and seeing those kiddies made me terribly homesick for my girls.

I get to now check my flight for tomorrow and see if Sandy is getting in my way. I know that it's not going to affect Atlanta. Hard to think of Atlanta as the "East Coast". It's indeed it's own country !!
