Okay, I just looked and someone had read this blog and it was stupid. It was reasons why I want to live in the UK or Germany. Two years ago, I had really really REALLY lame reasons. Then I tried comparing these places to the US. So, now me 2 years later...how do I feel about it. I would have to make some of spread sheet or some table to show the differences..
How about reasons why I would love to live in Germany : They have excellent public transportation, I like how they regulate food and drugs. I like that they are a "green" community, that people walk more than they drive, the people are mostly friendly, they have a lot of really cool forests, most of their cities are clean, they make really good beer (well they do), I love the friends that I have there, that they have a "downtown" and support small shops. They are a country of tradition and culture. I like their giant pretzels and cakes. I think financially they're doing a great job,

Putin always looks so happy :) Happy Boy !! |
Reasons I like the UK. I love every aspect of the United Kingdom. I like everything from the north to the south. I like the way the country runs. I love London and love shopping in London. I like the cultural opportunities that London has. I love the restaurants and its quaint shops. The United Kingdom which includes EVERYTHING to me is magical. I love its history, its architecture, its Union Jack, Parliament, The Royals, The Cotswolds, The fabulous little villages, Oxford, Cambridge, little children in uniforms going to school. I love the humor, ITV, BBC, and radio. I find it romantic. I love Mrs. F and her family. Also, love the transportation the red double decker bus and the tube
...even when the conductor says "This is a Cockfosters Train".. I still smile :) Oh, and of course I speak of a sweet accent from Kent and I am like 75% English...but not close enough for citizenship.

The only decent thing on Google that had Hotlanta on it.... |
I am sure that when one works and lives in these places their perception is totally different. So, I stay here in freaking Georgia. It's okay to live here and just be a tourist to those places because for now I just appreciate them and maybe if I lived there I wouldn't. God has placed me here and you know...just gotta roll with it. So, in two years...what will I think about those places ??
