Last night T and I volunteered at the Baldwin Auction at the Round Hill Country Club. It was sort of a "Dave and Busters" theme. Everyone dressed pretty casual. They had fun games and they raised 3 times more money than our school did !! We were just all humiliated that ours was not as successful. It was fun though and we helped run the Horse Races. It was pre recorded races. People bet on horses and if their horse wins they get prizes. Very fun and us Greenbrook Ladies wore HUGE hats like they do at the Kentucky Derby. I wish I had played...we were even assigned Auction Numbers ! Oh well my days of auctioning are over for these parts. They auctioned off a dog for $3000 ! What was more amusing was the 85 year old couples going to "the club" for dinner...smelling of cigars. I just can't imagine the wealth of those people !!!
