So, school is back and I found myself at home alone and rather depressed. I have spend far too much time on Facebook so I decided to start blogging again. Really? People just enjoy what I have to say ...IKR ? Um, by the way that is I know, right ? My daughter taught me that. She teaches me trendy stuff all the time. Like " Mom, the struggle is real." Daughter, the struggle is NOT real, you think it's real, but I pretty much do everything for you but...yeah, its not real.
Why do I want to sing Freedom ? Well, school is back in session. I am supposed to be at home watching soap operas and eating bon bons and playing tennis and ...and um eating lunch with the girls at the club. Instead, I eat lunch out once a week, and drive my kids to tennis. I also occasionally drive carpool to rowing. There are no bon bons or soap operas. What is really going on ? I am so glad you asked ...because I KNOW.YOU.CARE ...right ??
The Walking Dead : I have been watching it nonstop until the last season on Netflix was over. It was fun, then it was totally evil and gruesome, and then it got okay and then its evil again. What I noticed about this movie is...I WOULD DIE. If the world was taken over by zombies I would die. I wouldn't even make it to being a zombie. I also noticed the effects of PTSD on the show. Those people are living in fear everyday. Imagine you have no sleep, no food, you are killing people and dead people on a daily basis. That has to ( I want to swear so bad) mess with your head. This is not a new concept. Think about people all over the world that live with the same situation. Instead of zombies they deal with a holes like ISIL or The Taliban. People live in fear in the middle east all the time. So, I am sure if they watched the Walking Dead...they'd say..yeah , welcome to my life !!!! It makes my dad's abuse seem like nothing....
The Museum: I had two tours this month...weekend 30 minute tours. I drive 40 minutes to the museum stay 30 minutes and drive home. However, I am grateful I had any tours at all. This month I have 8 tours that primarily revolve around children. The museum likes me working with kids. I like the challenge of working with adults, but kids are good too. One of the tours I gave to kids last week was being stalked by young adults and they loved it. I thought maybe they could give an art history tour 101. We could give fun tours all day long, but I don't think the public is aware that they are free.

So, really you are not seeing the poor and famine. You are not seeing what its truly like to live there. Anyway I decided to look up Pyongyang and it lead me to : northkorea_dprk_today. I am subscribed to to it. It is the scariest Instagram out there. I am quite certain that the man who uses this American internet tool has a gun to his head when he updates it three of 4 times a day. Why ? He lives in Pyongyang which only cellphones without internet are used. If this man uses the internet ( could be a lady) he has to have special permission. They write posts about how fabulous North Korea is. They talk about their great leader like he's Jesus and how wonderful it is to live in a socialist society. They frequently remind the readers how evil America is. DUDE DUDE (let me say DUDE again) HAVE YOU BEEN TO AMERICA ? No, you have not been to America. If you have an Instagram account you know about America. So, the reason I say you have a gun to your head ? They would kill you if you knew what life was like OUTSIDE OF NORTH KOREA.
Also, HOW CAN YOU EAT AN ANIMAL THAT HAS INTELLIGENCE ? FEELINGS? WAGS IT'S TAIL ? Dog meat can not taste like chicken. Does a beagle taste different than a corgie ?
LONDON 2016: I am sad that my trip will never be as wonderful as my past trips. It's okay, I am taking my teenager and we are going to make a into a party. Feel free to join us :)
