It's reared its ugly head again...

What am I talking about ? I am talking about school. Yeah, trying to debate if it's good the kids are back in school or not. I really do not like being up at 6am. If money was involved ..it might be a possibility, but since it's to put my kids on the bus...I am not digging it. So, is it wrong I think that school should start at 8am and end at 3 ? Who makes up the school hours anyway ? Who voted on this ? Who felt that kids are more productive if they wake up that early ?

Most of the shopping has been done. It used to be all about going to Mervyns (a California based department store)  or Liberty house and getting outfits or Kenny Shoes etc. Now its about getting the right Sharpie Pens and protractors and mechanical pens etc. Will my daughter be required to purchase a scientific calculator ? Are we going to be filling chapter 11? Is that the bankruptcy chapter ?  If I went to court and I pleaded the 5th amendment, I am thinking I would plead chapter 11 or 7 or 14. Yes, that is me in a nutshell ! This in addition to braces and rowing and I wonder.... I wonder why we had more kiddies. I love my kids don't get me wrong, but they're costly !

I AM BRILLIANT: 

I read this headline on Twitter today. The headline was about Putin putting sanctions on the US and EU. So, the BRILLIANT person that I am thinks that Putin isn't going to allow the US and EU to buy from them. Then I am thinking...what on gods green earth would Russia sell that we could possibly want...other than vodka and caviar ? So, I thought it was a joke. So, I go ahead on twitter and post it as a joke....um yeah, if I had actually READ the article it was the other way around.
- Russia will ban all imports of food from the United States and all fruit and vegetables from Europe, the state news agency reported on Wednesday, a sweeping response to Western sanctions imposed over its support for rebels in Ukraine.
  Yes, there I was attempting to be clever and what did I do ? Twitter snarkiness is not for me. Ask me to blog, no problem, but ask me to write up something clever on Twitter...heck no. People need not follow me because I have nothing to offer but retweets. Then its so much information passing through will I remember to look back at all the the "likes" to see what those stories are all about ?

Had lunch with my GF Mar yesterday. We had the ..I would not say totally interesting discussing. We discussed cancer, our fathers, our dating habits, our family , etc. Here this friend is slightly younger and from a different culture. We both grew up in CA and our we had identical ...experiences in our youth I would say. We had known each other for about 2 years now and I had no idea how much we had in common. She wants to work for the CDC and I am jealous. People are really really freaked about Ebola and living near Atlanta. I think its AWESOME we can help those people out. I found a flowchart on Facebook that described the situation perfectly. If you are not in direct contact with Ebola...stop freaking out. Well, it was worded slightly different...but never the less amusing. I am sure I offended at least 110 of my of friends. 

I am off to the grocery store. I am going to a PC party and assembling meals in bags for a week to make my life easier. Yeah, wanna really make my life easier ? Send me 2 million dollars. I would buy a house, a car, hire a nanny and a house cleaner. THAT would make my life easier. Then I think I am supposed to quote something from the Bible or Jesus or something ...you know something about LIFE and the Dali Lama. That is so not me today...maybe tomorrow.....
