Dear Twins: Fun spending this "special day" at the clinic. I am glad that I know the physicians and nurses. Why Piedmont Hospital does not have a punch card is beyond me. You know, with 10 visits you get a free frozen yogurt or a trip to the Virgin Islands..something like that.
Dear Dana: I had all my best intentions to read your book yesterday and today, but after a 5 hour jaunt at the museum and todays visit to the clinic..it might be spent tomorrow. Wait ? Do I have something going on tomorrow ? Oh who cares...school starts...then I can read as many books as you can send me.
Dear Treens: Okay, I loved your house...a ton ! Did I tell you that I dream of living in a house like that on the coast of some European country ? How blessed are you to have such a home ? I love it ! I wish I had a desire to live in Utah, but I don't ....love you Treens. So grateful to have a cousin/friend like you. I hope when I grow up one day I will be just as awesome as you are.
Dear Mrs. F: I have sent to you approximately 12 or so Heath bars in hopes it might relieve stress. I don't know about you but during stressful times chocolate is my friend.
Dear PS: I have to admit I was reminded about you a lot when I was with my mom. No, it wasn't the colonoscopy. It was not the several trips to Salt Lake City or the many restaurants I ate at. Nor was it the big asshole my mother was fighting with across the street. It was small book that was my fathers. It contained some very uninteresting information and it reminded me of you. It made me sad. I hope that you are happy where you are and whom you are with....I think positive thoughts and feelings are important and I send them your way.
Dear Momma Mia: I know that you are very unhappy that I spent many hours on my ipad playing spider solitaire. I know you'll find this hard to believe but being with my kids alone like that is stressful. Sometimes you just have to get away and it is certainly better than having a drink or smoking...or you know...being a meth addict.
Dear High Museum: I gave my first official tour to adults and children. I had an introduction and one transition. The rest was total insanity. I dealt more with kids whining about how bored they were. I am assuming that you will have greater expectations on a Highlights tour. Please keep in mind it was a Fulton County free Sunday as well...good times peeps....good times.
Meine Familie: I am off to the basement to read a book, an article in Time magazine and a plethora of laundry.
Dear Hannah: Thank you so much for the homemade scones and jam to remind me of the UK. I will eat them when I start looking for my next Cath Kidston bag. Girls gotta do what a girls gotta do :)
