Hotlanta, I'm Home !

Song of the trip: Anything by "Imagine Dragons"

NOTE: MY FACE WAS NOT COPY AND PASTED INTO PHOTOSHOP....I HAVE ONE LOOK..."there it is ...Magnum....it's beautiful".

It has almost been one month since I have blogged, or watched TV or looked at any art. TV I can totally live without now. After watching CNN at the airport for an hour yesterday I find the news useless. It just tells me how horrible things are going in the world. Besides, I am sick of the way the media has taken stories and twisted them this way and that to destroy lives. I think its those stories about Gaza and how horrible it is and how I can do nothing to do to stop it. What is going to happen to the  Holy Land ? What is going to happen when they just all blow everything up and kill each other ? Why can't God just come down and say "KNOCK IT OFF"? Also, all these planes missing and plane crashes and planes being blown up did not make my flight any easier. That poor man next to me...I just talked his ear off. My kids did really well...the new electronic devices on planes made it much easier for them to be occupied.

So, do I just list the things that I did on my trip ?

1) Took my kids twice to 7 Peaks Water Park and an indoor pool twice

2) Cook, Brenda, and I took the girls to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum . If you live in Utah and you haven't been...you are REALLY missing out. Peeps they have a two headed lamb and an art collection of flowers made of dead peoples hair. It's VERY COOL.

3) Ate out at : Lishy Lou's, Quirkey's, In and Out, Cafe Rio, Nielson's Frozen Custard, The Lion House, Moms Cafe, Denny's and Mexican Food in Salina, Utah. I also ate at the Sage Cafe in Richfield, Utah and Einstein Bagels in Salt Lake City.If I ate out anywhere else..I have forgotten. Yeah, I am pretty sick of eating out now and Diet Coke....did I say that ?

NICE Butt Hole sir...

4) Took my mother to get her driver's license, grocery shopping, doctors appointments and a fabulous colonoscopy appointment that happened at 4:20 in the morning.
5) I rented a car and drove 700 miles in 7 days.

6) I attended my very first 24 of July parade and bbq in Mayfield.
7) I watched my mother argue with the biggest a hole in the world...a sight to see
Cousin David: Farmer, former Elk Breeder, Cowboy, Spiritual Extraordinaire, deep voice and a very kind man.

8) I visited with 4/6 cousins and 2 distant cousins and my Aunt. Also visited many of my cousins children. When visiting Treens my sister and I brought her twins. So, there were three sets of twins :)

9) Visited with my friend Cook who I had previously seen in London
10) Visited with Brenda who I hadn't seen in many many years...
11) I visited with my friend Elaine who made me a fabulous breakfast at her home and we filled 90 minutes with about maybe 19 years of our lives :)
12) Went to a bizarre Indian ....um...hard to explain...I guess an Indian museum.
Yeah, that pretty much sums up my entire trip. There was lots of food and lots of visiting. The weather was not friendly enough to visit the national parks. However, I did get to see where the Olympics were held in Park City Utah. Ski jumping has to be the most dangerous sport ever ! CRAZY !!
