My darling teenage daughter (going on 10..hmm maybe 10 is pushing it?) she really is a something teen. Anyway, she's in the bathroom and finds a pack of Wisp mini brushes that I bought her 4000 years ago. I was trying to encourage her to have oral hygiene outside the home. She opens it up and finds the little blue dots...interesting. So, she removes it with her fingers and squeezes it. It pops all over her face and into her eye. She screams in terror....and I am of course in bed in a coma sleeping. She said the pain was so bad she was going to die ! She eventually rinsed it out of her eye...seriously a Wisp dot could be used as a weapon ? I like it !! Seriously why carry assault weapons when a Wisp is so much cheaper ???
Yesterday, well it was my first tour of K-4th Graders. It was a large group of daycare kids at the museum. So, my second tour ever and I get two groups back to back of 14 kids each. It was okay....well first of all the kids were really hyper because they had eaten lunch and they also wanted to do the art project. The escort of the first group was counting money on the museum floor as I am explaining what a portrait is to these kids. Unfortunately, she had to stop because half of them left to use the bathroom. She left me with 5 kids by myself to discuss what a herbivore is and a carnivore is etc.
The second group the kids were older. I was surprised to find that one of the most important rules that the museum has...was not told to them. DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING ! I am wondering why kids are actually given any rules because so far none have followed them.
I had like 15 minutes at home after rushing back from the museum. It was our last home meet. I was lucky assigned the Diabetes (candy) table. I do have a passion for bake goods, but candy...no way.
If you are adult who often is quoted saying " Hey little girl, would you like some candy?"...might I recommend these:
Push Pop
Ring Pop
Anything sour tasting....
I am thinking with proper oral hygiene training I can use such items to force them into cleaning their rooms...hmmm...
