It's Fathers Day and stuff...

So, this is my dad...Ralphie. Its kinda sorta weird because although I thought about my dad today, I wasn't really that emotional about it. So, does this make me a bad person ? He has been gone so long, I barely remember him . I have blogged about him on previous Father's Days so feel free to read on :) I think he's in his 30's in this picture in Italy...he seems to be a suave guy. He drove a Porsche and traveled Europe in the military. He never talked about it, but I certainly have enough slides of him. You gotta embrace your parents, because they don't live forever and my father died when I was too young and stupid to appreciate him like I should have.

How did I spend Father's Day ? I went to the Library and found this book. Yes, so tell me who is The Greatest Lover In All of England ? That man in that poofy shirt and red tights is just really scary. I think if he showed up at my house I would seriously run for my life...even if he was The Greatest Lover In The All Of England. Well, unfortunately the stunning romance is only selling for $3.99. Imagine if I had actually checked this book out what I might have learned about it ? What it must have been like to be with The Greatest Lover In All Of England !

I did however check this book out. It will not be as romantic..I am actually thinking it might be depressing. I did recently speak to a lady at a swim meet a few weeks ago that explained to me for 2 hours about not taking drugs. So, instead of just listening to someone explain something to me, I might as well read a few books and decide it for myself ..right ???

Went to a fun birthday party last night. Some of a my neighbors from my former neighborhood were there. FUN ! Meet a lot of really nice people...and check out this cake ! I really do not have the paitence nor the talent to work with fondant, but apparently someone else did. Did it not turn out awesome ?? LOVED IT ! Love the VW theme ! Looking at this I am thinking of my next car. I thought about a SUV Benz, Honda's and Suburu's and I am not sure what is next. I just know that it is NOT going to be a Mini Van. If I am driving into the city 2 times a week I am not driving a van...that is for sure !!!

Last I would just like that thank my twins for throwing dinosaurs over the edge of the veranda. Thank you for damaging the table...who knew dinos could be so destructive ?
