Neurofeedback #2

Today was mapping. It wasn't anything special. I wasn't put into any type of clean room. The doctor did not have a Russian/German accent and look like Freud. He wasn't wearing a lab coat and black plastic glasses. He did not wear gloves and did not ask me to take my clothes off. I sat in a chair that reclines and he placed a cap on my head like a swim cap. He then squirted cold gel into something....I never saw the cap..and he then placed a wooden pick and pushed in something. I asked him if he was going to give me a lobotomy. He told me no, which I was some what disappointed . Then he asked me to close my eyes and relax. I think within 1 minute he realized that I am unable to relax. He told me to relax my jaw.

This, pineapples, and a tall Spanish looking dude...
So, I thought of being somewhere like on the coast of Greece and laying on a floaty as some hot (pretend) Spaniard told me how fabulous I was and fed me ...um I think he fed me pineapple. Anyway, I did that for 5 minutes. Then he asked me to open my eyes and focus on a picture of Stonehenge. Which had nothing at all to do with the Pretend Spaniard. I kept thinking of things happening around it ...like waterfalls or fire and ladies with flowers around their heads dancing.

THIS.IS.SPINAL TAP !
I thought about Spinal Tap and that the tour guide would be British. Its very very hard to sit and focus on one thing for 5 minutes when you have ADHD. In fact, at one point I gave up and wasn't even aware of it.
She is sooo awesome !
So, now I just wait for an email that contains a large questionnaire. Hopefully I will be able to understand the questions. Then I start the program. It takes up to 40 sessions and its about $85 a session. It's kind of a bummer. I sit there and watch movies and focus on them. I will write more later about it. They aren't special movies, but can be anything from documentaries to cartoons. Wow ...I wonder if he has King of Thrones ?
