Everything's Gone Green

Water one of the main ingredients to make Guinness Beer

I don't think that I have ever been so busy in my life. Seriously, the non stop activity of a traveler ! Today I am taking the day off. I am sitting once again in the dining room of Mrs. F and listening to the sounds of a helicopter and a house alarm. Yes, I am finding it hard to focus. I thought I would write about my trip to Ireland.
Waiting for Bern at the Cork Airport....lovely nah ?

Day 1: Got up and to the airport via cab. This wasn't any cab, it was a new black Mercedes Benz with a driver in a long wool coat. Yes, I felt like I didn't deserve to be in the cab. Seriously, get a man in a long wool coat and I am butter ! Took Air Lingus to Ireland and landed in the afternoon. First thing I notice is that everything is written in English and Irish. Why does this shock me ? I don't know, I am just used to seeing things in English and Spanish. I go grab a Diet Coke and sandwich and two chocolate bars.
Crosshaven, Ireland

Bern picks me up at the airport and takes me to the grocery store. We unload groceries at her house and then we pick up her kids from school. Kids in school uniforms are adorable ! We return home and I nap for two hours. We have dinner and I to go sleep about 8:30.
Yes, this is in fact a spider in Ireland. Why the picture? So, my kids can freak out....

Day 2: Bern takes me to Crosshaven and we decided to walk down a hill. It's covered with moss on rocks and I slip and fall. I pull muscles in my arm. It's killing me. I give up going down the hill knowing that I would have been better off sliding my buttocks. We return home to take the children to Cork for rehearsal. They take Suzuki Violin lessons. There are little girls and boys with little violins...it's sweet. I am now realizing how much I miss my kids. Also, I am realizing my kids need to start playing the violin ! So, Bern and I do some shopping around Cork. Cork is nice, it's the 3rd largest city in Ireland....southern Ireland that is.

Day 3: Shopping for gloves and leggins. We then spend pretty much the entire day at the concert. It was really nice and had a grand time ! We all then went to some Italian food in Coragaline. Later, we went to sleep and the next day I got up and went to see where the Cronin's came from and Kinsale, Ireland.

Sha, Elieen, and I somewhere....I hate my double chin...

Day 4: Had a grand tour of Dublin, Ireland and saw all there was to see. All the museums are closed on Mondays so we got in all the sites. I did however visit the Guinness Brewery and had a glass. It was really not that bad considering I am not big on alcohol. We visited Dublin Castle, Trinity University and saw the "Book of Kells", and St. Patricks Cathedral. I could of course post more pictures, but obviously when one googles  Dublin, Ireland photos...you can see what Dublin is all about. Hey I was there and these pictures prove it !!

Day 5: Flew back to London
