Life is a Beach !

So, for Michelle's trip I wanted to take her to DC. Lately, all my trips to DC have not panned out well. It's really too hot and humid to go. I also think if I had taken those girls up there I would have...THEY would have never made it....due to the insanity I would have had. So, I planned at trip to Hilton Head for the third time.

Yucky stormy skies

Day one we went to the beach for a few hours. It was the twins first time in the ocean. I am kind bummed it was the Atlantic Ocean and not the Pacific. Like I have said before I am a California Girl. No matter on earth I am living I am always going to be just that.

The girls had a great time in the sand. The water was warm and no sign of dead jelly fish hanging around. We stayed for about 4 hours and then went back to the hotel.
The next day we got up and went back to the same beach. This time we brought chairs, and food and a tent, etc. Rah Rah got stung by something, she said she saw a shark, the twins were content, and I just worried about the tent flying away. I was in a really crappy mood. Anyway, a huge storm rolled in and we left. We returned back to Bluffton and spent 6 hours hanging out.

Thursday we got up early drove to Tybee Beach....again loaded with trashy people. I picked up the flip flops I had been wanting for months. Let me tell you these were not high end flip flops either. I had bought a pair months ago and was using duct tape...Hello Kitty duct tape I might add...to keep them together. Now I have them....now I feel complete.
It's Friday now and I am back to my regular grind. I got my phone replaced with a new one. Lets hope this one lasts more than 6 months. I did laundry, dishes, swept the floor, and did a wittle blogging ! Tomorrow the girls go to the aquarium...and then Michelle goes home.

She's convinced me to buy a wig...and I think she's right !! 

More people are arriving next week and the week after and the week after. So, lots of more pictures of Atlanta. Maybe its good that school is starting back ??
