I applied for a job at GNC last week. The manager was very nice, and the interview went well. I didn't get the job, and I didn't want the job. When I realized what I had committed to this summer, there was no way I could go anywhere else. Rah and I are heading for a girls week out to New York City. The following weekend Carrie is coming, the following weekend Mar is coming, the following two weeks Michelle is coming and then sometime after that the C's are heading down to Florida. The the midst of all this chaos the in laws are coming as well. However, I like chaos. I am glad everyone is coming here to visit. It's been quiet and lonely here and I need something alive and kicking to step through my door. So, I am not ready to return to work. However, I am ready to start going back to school ! I have some goals in mind. I am really looking forward to taking a creative writing class !
So, in debating if I should take this job or not I talked to Joe. Joe isn't my trainer...I would say Joe is my overall guru of health. He is my go to man when it comes to what to put in my mouth. Joe suggested that I change my blog into a journal of my weight loss. I think many have struggled with diet issues. I have seen many people who have lost weight online. This would however give up my "Notes to the GretchieVerse". Seriously, Lenore just can't live without me ! Her life would be incomplete ! Sooooo, maybe I could just dedicate one or two days a week to the Gretchie Verse and then maybe two to the weight loss. Except, what do I call it ? Would people really read it ? Would there be huge expectations ? Should there be before and after pictures ? Would I get products to sponsor me ? Could I look as thin and as fabulous as Bronwyn ? Oh, I doubt it....she was just born fabulous.
Follow up on the eye...the bruise is almost gone. My ankle is still sprained and really swollen. My finger is doing really well. It doesn't look anything like the finger next to it that I broke in the shower at my mother's house. The illness that I had after I got home from my trip to Norfolk has ended. I am eating normally and sleeping a lot. My house is still a disaster, but nothing new about that. The school year is about to end, and I am trying to figure out if that is good or bad ? I have signed up for swim team concessions lady with another mom in Spring Ridge. I just hope my kids can hang this summer. I got an early Mother's Day Present...a laptop, and now I have to figure out how to post pictures !!!
