So, what happened to me ?

Well, to begin with the year end of schooling events was insane. So many things to do before the year was over. The last day of school my daughters school was having a field day. Now, it wasn't like Grease , but apparently there was a snow cone machine. I was well just slightly  disappointed. So, what did I do ? I took my girl out of school and took her and her friend to the museum. A far better experience. Not only did they learn the history of Coca Cola, but they more importantly learned about segregation in the south during those damn Jim Crow laws. We had the rowing year end banquet and my girl got most improved rower. Truly she kicked butt this last season. There were a lot of year ending things. So summer has begun.

I also had a pretty horrible car accident and totaled Jack. Yeah, I cried...not because I was in a great deal of pain and burned my stomach with airbag chemicals, but Jack was dead. I have a new mini now. It's white with black and cream leather. It's not going to be named. I have decided there is no point naming a car, because I can't get attached to objects. Isn't that sinful anyway ? Yeah, what would Jesus do if he totaled his mini named Jack ? He would do what I would do. He would not name his next car. Truly a car is a car is a car...just as a hotel room is a hotel room is a hotel room. If its clean and the bed isn't broken it works for me.

Spending this summer in Savannah, Florida and I am hoping for a trip to DC and spending my time in my friends suave penthouse. I would write about art, but I need to first read my book about The Habsburg Dynasty in their huge chins :)
