I wish that we celebrated Christmas when Christ was born. So, from what I have been told ...it's sometime in spring not in December. I know, this would eliminate a WHOLE bunch of Christmas songs that include snow. I would eliminate Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus, The Heat Meiser, Bumble, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, etc.

It would eliminate an entire collection of Christmas Classics including tunes by Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Burl Ives, and Barbara Streisand. It would override Easter. Yet, Gretchie Verse it would make my life 10,000 easier. My husbands birthday THE day, my teen's in December and my twinzies January. Yeah, its all mushed into one. In addition to that its all the Christmas Parties and School parties etc. Am I bitter or angry ? Absolutely not, I just feel that when its jumbled together like that...as the British say its just a bit OTT.

So, I have been to a few parties including one I threw recently. Celebrating my Danish heritage, which I rarely mention. We had meatballs, gravy, potatoes, green beans, mushrooms, 2 different types of purple cabbage, rice pudding and cookies that are decorated like little elves.

My friends father is from Denmark and he made traditional ebelskivers. We had games and crafts, etc. It was delightful and it only took me a week to get my house ready.
Other than that...things that I found amusing....

North Korea threatening Sony Pictures. what could they possibly be afraid of ? Really, what is this about ? I was actually looking forward to seeing this movie.
