Blogging, What I Should Not Be Doing...

So, next to me is this stack of papers. I am making little booklets for my daughters class...activity books. It's for the "Fall Festival" tomorrow. Thanks to society tomorrow is Halloween and children no longer get to dress in costume. So, instead we have a "Fall Festival". It so sad because I always looked forward to wearing my costume to school ! Now kids wear them for 3 hours...spend $30 bucks for 3 freaking hours. They all walk around collecting candy, getting type 2 diabetes and .....it is what it is right ?

Now my glorious week in California.

Wednesday: Lunch with my friend forever C and then later I went to the Basil Leaf Cafe in Danville with Shal and friends.

Thursday: Coffee with Mr. B and  Mar had a soiree for me. Three people showed up...however, they were three really cool peeps ! I had a tour of her home. I can now say I have a friend who has an elevator in her home. How about dem apples ? In the evening I went and visited Shannon's craft party. I was there for social purposes only and saw more friends.

Friday: Breakfast with Amy, Lunch with Carrie and I went on a wine tasting walk with Vero and friends. I got to see A's adorbs house in Livermore and meet new peeps. I am not a huge wine drinker, but I did consume all the candy that was passed around.

Nothing beats a kids party than showing football at the same time

Saturday: Went to a Halloween Party in San Jose.  Dinner at Casa Orzco.

Did I mention Bob was there ? This blog could have been called all about Bob....if I had actually blogged that day, but I didn't bring my lap top. They all had selfies with the Gretchie Button :) Even Bob

Some people are made for each other....

Sunday: Went to Carmel to  Clint Eastwood's Ranch. You know if you would ask me what I am miss about California. I would say A) The Easy Going People B) The Climate and C) The California Coastline. Ya just can not get any better than that. To me there's nothing like it in the world. Well, Considering I haven't see the whole world. Had a fantastic time celebrating Lisa's 50th B-Day.

Oooh Mini F what have you done to me ? I need this...like yesterday !

Tuesday: Spend almost the entire day with Mini F and my friend Pat. It was pretty much a British Consumed day. Pat my friend from Macy's 5000 years ago. We worked together and I called her mum. She is from Oxfordshire. We talked about family and friends and our ole' days at Macy's. Then some discussion of Mel and the fact that I was born in the wrong country....and should have lived in England. Yeah, but Pat it is what it is right ? Can't cry over something that is never going to happen and I am okay with that. I then went to Mini F's and had fun drinking tea and discussing pets and such. Oh we always cover every topic while I am there except having babies and sexually transmitted diseases. We are having neither of those !

Wednesday: To the airport at 6am and off back to Hotlanta and chaos....super major chaos.
