Notes to the Gretchie Verse

Dear G: Truly, I had fun shoe shopping today. I am thinking perhaps I need a pair of Saucony shoes as well. Did you know we wear the same size ? So, like everyone else living at your house I will just steal them from you some day. Then, you'll know it's me since your girls all have little tiny barbie sized feet. Also, I don't visualize them wearing Saucony shoes. So, did you burn holes in your rugs today running around with them on ?
Dear LL: Okay, I am hoping you were not upset about my email yesterday. It's just that the carpet smells. Why do I always have issues with carpet ? Thankfully it looks good and just smells bad. Also, when I delivered all those kiddies I got a super sense of smell. Think of it as a super power ! Drives everyone nuts, but I was always able to detect a dirty diaper 6 miles away. If you are reading this and you work for the government...I am not using my special powers to protect the universe, just my kids.

Dear Momma Mia: I am still slightly worried, but again I just took all of my fear and anger and frustration, and worrying and gave it all to Julie. She said she doesn't mind. She has a lot on her plate as well, but you know I think she has a cabinet at home and just stores every ones problems in it so people don't have to worry.

Dear G: Yes, I mean you...I wanted to tell you the name of that country. It's called Reunion. 

Réunion (French: La Réunion); previously Île Bourbon) is a French island with a population of about 800,000 located in theIndian Ocean, east of Madagascar, about 200 kilometres (120 mi) southwest of Mauritius, the nearest island. 

There is just a brief description a la Wikipedia. I am thinking that someone is really bored on vacation and some how that poor man or lady or child or whatever just landed on the Gretchie Verse on accident. Poor thing....they're going to need therapy now. 

Dear Laurie: I was thinking of my next trip would be to Spain/Portugal. Are you interested ? It would only be for a week. My friend Cook is there right now and we could visit her in Madrid. I am jealous you are going to Rome ! Really though, you need to watch the movie about the Borgias ! However they were not Italian, but were Spanish. Never trust a Spaniard ! I mean that in jest ( actually I don't) anyway I just went 4000 places with my  ADHD brain and was reminded of a quote from movie The Princess Bride : You only think I guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line"! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha...

Dear Me: Okay, bizarre weird blog ! Go to bed because you are tired. You are worried, you are stressed, you are in the midst of an ocean of boxes and children who want everything NOW. Go to bed G and dream about ...about Spaniards :)
