Charleston

It's Spring Break global warming style. The weather was warm yesterday and got a little sunburn. Today, the weather is cold. Easter was nice. We went to the Freeburns house for brunch. Anna made a fabulous dinner and the Ham was fabulous. We then came home and departed for Charleston. Yesterday we did a little shopping. I picked up some cookbooks and a Christmas Ornament. We had lunch at a restaurant called "Whisk". I asked them about their cake makers. They told me they needed a cake maker !! Had to walk away from my dream job making cakes in Charleston, SC. It was a little kitchen, but the place was so cute. We then took a tour of Charleston by carriage. The driver was named Shawn. He was a nice man and gave a really good tour. I asked questions about the homes and the paint. I know he thought I was nuts, but I wanted to know why they just over paint everything. The Citadel was just covered with so much hideous paint. We went for frozen yogurts and returned the hotel. The girls wanted to go swimming ! It was freezing cold. I am surprised they weren't purple when they got out. 

Today we are going to take a boat to Ft. Sumter. Really ? I just want to crawl back and go to sleep..but that ain't happening. I am looking forward to the wedding next month , Disney Cruise and then later a trip to Cali ! I might find a place to hide and stay ....
