Blue Savannah.....

Do you know the song "Blue Savannah"? It's sung by Erasure and I love it ! Reminds me of my mother and I one summer driving through the Nevada desert to Utah. ANYWAY, not what my blog is about. I did a crazy thing AGAIN and took a day trip to Savannah, GA. Well, the thing was that I wanted to go and visit the houses that I missed on our last trip. So, I decided to take rah rah and two Brazilians nannies with me. It was supposed to be a day trip and it ended up being a two day trip. Here are some pictures from our trip:

The Mercer House museum....where the famous murder took place that is featured in the book "The Midnight Garden of Good and Evil". Keep in mind that you will never see the upstairs of this home..

We later went to Tybee Beach. May I NOT recommend this section of the beach. Basically, it was white trash. There were no families there. There was a lot of army there, a lot of smokers, a lot of swearing and a lot of beer. You'll see on the left of this photo that people were setting chairs up for a wedding. I think of all the places to have a wedding on the beach...um...not his one !!!

This picture is of me at the hotel in Bluffton, NC. We ended up spending the night so I had to go out and buy clothes for the next day and toiletries. I am LOVING my new hat.

These next pictures are from Hilton Head Beach, NC. Okay, this was a fabulous beach. The sand was white. the water was warm, the beach was family friendly, no smokers, kite flying, and Jelly Fish on the beach. I liked it so much more than Tybee.

I'm home now and no more trips like this one ! It's good to be at home in my air conditioned house with my obnoxious twins and crazy puppies !!
