Georgia Aquarium

Okay, just so you know, I don't really like zoo's and aquariums. I don't care how well they take care of the animals....and I realize it's a wonderful opportunity to love and appreciate animals. I know it's an opportunity for scientists to observe. I however feel that animals need to be in their own habitat. That take them away and locking them up in cages and tanks...really...are they really happy ? Someday I am sure we will able to have dolphins answer these questions....so long and thanks for all the fish.  By the way there were a lot of really cool and interesting amphibians and fish there, but I still feel like it's cruel...

Okay, these Dragon Horses ROCKED !! I had never seen anything so spectacular...now I want one for my own ! Did I just say that ???

Pregnant Beluga

Today I had the pleasure of being a parent escort on a trip to the Georgia Aquarium. Sooooo much better than preschool kids !! The aquarium was nice, but seriously it reminded me of a dance club. A lot of neon type lights and signs. It reminded me of Disneyland. However, they did have a lot of really cool animals. My pictures did not do this trip justice. It's just hard to imagine an Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia. I feel like they should be on the coast...like the most excellent Monterey Bay Aquarium ! Here is the photos. Sorry I am not blogging about Whitney Houston.....or the Republican Candidates...perhaps I just feel the same about both of them....
