Only the good die young...

Since I was ...was maybe 11 or 12 I have been intrigued with the Kennedy Clan. My grandmother had two pictures hanging up in her home. The first was JFK and the other was FDR. I never asked why she had them up there. She never appeared to be a fan of politics. So, while I was staying with her I am pretty sure I read a book about Jacqueline BK Onassis. I since then have not been deeply obsessed with the Kennedy Family, but I would never turn down a book or movie about them.

Two years I discovered Joseph Kennedy Jr. I mean he was always there, but since he died young, so he wasn't really mentioned.

Joe Jr. was being raised to be in politics.

He attended the US Naval Academy and became a pilot. He went out on a mission in WWII and never returned. There are many theories what happened to him and his plane in Europe. I would hope his plane crashed. That he was never captured and killed by Germans.

Anyway, I find him to be incredibly handsome.  Sometimes, I just look back and think how I would have loved to have lived when he was alive. Everyone has an era they wish they had lived in. I suppose I would be fabulous time traveler. Wow...doesn't that sound geeky ? I don't know, I would want to see and live in it all !
