King and Queen of America

I am in a great deal of denial about the condition of my home.  The things that need to be packed away. It's such an insane amount quite frankly I don't want to do it. So, of course I have been seeking out other things in my mind to go to .....other than tape and boxes.

I was reflecting on the Kings Speech during my second go around with it. I was thinking wouldn't it have been great in a way to have American Royalty ? Really the British Monarchy do serve a great purpose. They are charitable and people look up to them. No, by no means are they perfect.  In fact as years go on I am amazed how less and less popular they are here. Maybe the Royal Wedding will turn things around.  Anyway, King and Queen of America. To watch the people standing and cheering on the King George and the Queen Mother.  In times of war the Royal Family gave the people of the UK a sense of encouragement. We don't really have American Icons. We have President Obama and he has a lot on his plate right now. Well, it was just flowing through my little brain trapped in the bubble of the East Bay. I better get back to my packin !
