The UK Bucket List

I met with Mrs. F in the afternoon to discuss the London Bucket List....
  1. Buckingham Palace...okay, really I am not that interested, but when you go to London...you just have to go to the changing of the guards...you just have to....
  2. The Queens Gallery...she might have some interesting things on display...she might not. I am sure she will have something to peek my interest!
  3. Windsor Castle: My mother almost cried when I told her that we will be going here.  
  4. Kensington Gardens
  5. The Victoria and Albert Museum (also known as the V&A) ....I just saw the movie "The Young Victoria" and bawled my eyes out.  Just gotta go now....
  6. The Museum of London
  7. The Churchill War Rooms and Museum ...Because admit it Churchill ROCKED !  Keep Calm and Carry On Baby !!!
  8. St. Paul's Cathedral...can't help but think of Mary Poppins ( oh man)
  9. National Portrait Museum....Excellent !
  10. Tower of London...apparently when seeing the crown jewels...you take a  moving walkway ?? What ??
  11. Harrods...Look, Touch...just don't buy Gretchie....
  12. House of Commons...for the few and the privlgeged and moi.  If you have been and taken a tour...WHATEVER !!
  13. Hampton Court....now I am just talking..its far away, but you know after watching the Tudors why would I not want to go ?
  14. Kensington Place...um...maybe ?
  15. British Library : ALICE IN WONDERLAND...need I say more ?
  16. The London Eye....it's like Buckingham Palace...you have to go !
  17. The Courtaud Gallery Tour....now I have totally forgotten why I want to go, but I do :)
  18. River Tour from Westminster to Greenwich
  19. Tourist Bus.....sounds sorta cheezy, but toting around an 78 year old momma around London, it's a must !
  20. Covenant Garden...Mrs. F gives it two thumbs up...must have something to do with shopping....

I insist upon video of you singing "Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins, while actually feeding the birds outside of St. Paul's.

Would like to add afternoon tea at selfridges, bottom floor. And must stop by the department store Liberty. Incredible place. Skip the London eye.

Nice post Gretchie, I may just make it my London to do list. Pity you don't have one for the rest of UK.
