Shoe Shopping

Today Julie and I went to Palo Alto for a little girls day out shopping.  Things that I needed: Clinique gift with Purchase at Bloomingdales, Map of Paris, France, book of things to see in London, England, and perfume from Coach.  Other things that were purchased....Lunch at Nordstrom.  I had my usual lime and cilantro chicken salad.  We split a cookie and cherry brownie...it was fantastic.  We spotted this older man with a light blue vest on, khakis and these cute cream and navy saddle shoes.  They were SWEET !  He was eating alone and I was brave I would asked if we could dine with him. Julie was brave enough to photograph his shoes with the hipstomatic app on her iphone.  We shoe shopped at Nordies and Julie got some fit flops...she does not really believe that they are going to decrease her buttocks does she ?  We ended our day at a cupcake store in the Palo Alto Town and Country shopping center.  Fantastic cupcakes !  Maybe just wee bit moist....I am trying to become a cupcake conniseur.  I forgot to go to Sprinkles cupcakes...I will have to go another time.  What else ?  Oh yes we did go into Tiffany&Co.  I was not totally impressed with the merchandise. I am not one for jewelry.  I suppose that Tom should be grateful ?  He took the girls to the zoo...which I am most grateful for.  My prep shopping for Europe is almost done...now just some sensible shoes !
