Momma Mia

I know..I have used this picture before, but I love that my mom worked for Bryce Canyon Lodge and sang songs and danced :)

Since I don't know...the 70's ? I have called my mother "Momma Mia". I am sure Alison and I have had other names for my mother, but for the moment I don't recall them. Now, when we call my mom "momma mia" we sing a song with it. It is usually not the Abba song "Momma Mia"...it usually has a different tune. My mother is all about reading books, singing and dancing. Growing up my favorite thing to do was to dance in the kitchen with my mom. We still do it ! She taught Alison and I all sorts of dances to do. Which of course made us the queens of our favorite dance club "Stargaze". I also like doing other things with my mother as well.

1) Dancing in the kitchen
2) Listening to the Bee Gees and Cocktail Music
3) Playing cards
4) Cooking food in her giganic kitchen and eating it. Reading through her cooking books, finding a recipe and then making it.
5) Eating soft cones at Shell's in Gunnison
6) Eating soft cones at Five Star in Gunnison
7) Eating Mexican Food and Chinese Food
8) Laughing...lots of laughing. Alison and I laugh so much with mom she pees her pants....but Alison and I are old now..so we might pee our pants too ! It's the craziest thing...to get us together we just laugh over the stupidest things that we almost cry.
9) Driving to Utah through the Nevada Desert singing "Blue Savannah" by Erasure
10) Watching funny movies
11) Fighting over the computer to play card games
12) Giving my mom a sip of my Diet Coke and then watch her say " Oh that tastes horrible"....she does this everytime I have one.
