This Memorial Day I was just dying to get out of the house. Another day in here and I was going to lose it ! So, we packed almost nothing...just warm clothes because our last journey to San Francisco was a nightmare. We decided to visit the grave of my dad. It's pretty much there when you drive in. So, we went over there and Sarah put a little note down telling him she loved him. We then decided we would look around. I am truly amazed that someone walked around and put flags on every tombstone . We walked up to the large flag that you can see off of the freeway. There was nothing up there , so we decided to leave. The way down we looked over a hill and there was a Memorial Day service. We were standing by the trumpeter as he played taps. It was very touching and I was glad Sarah was with me to experience.

We left the cemetery and headed to "The Beach Chalet" for lunch. It was slightly pricey, but it looks over the ocean and it was sorta funky. Our plan that day was to drive to Golden Gate Park and go for a walk. Oh my gosh ! There was no parking ! The park was so crowded !! I suppose next time we attempt to go there...go early in the morning. Anyway, we went to Ocean Beach and collected sea shells, played with a dead jellyfish and threw rocks into the ocean. It was nice and we are all wiped out !
