Father's Day

Okay, so today wasn't the greatest day on earth. I got pink eye AGAIN, but in the other eye. The girls fell asleep and woke up at 1pm so we missed church AGAIN. So, we decided to go to Great America to get our pictures taken for our Great America passes. We ended up spending two hours riding a few rides and then came home. We went over to Kristin's and had homemade brownies and ice cream. It was wonderful ! I return back to my diet tomorrow and it's my first day of school. Hopefully I won't pass out ! Sarah said it was the worst day of her life because she was not able to ride any of the rides that she wanted to ride and we didn't let her swim in freezing weather. Tom has made no comments about today.
I am grateful that I am blessed to have Tom as a husband and the father of my girls. He is a wonderful father who loves and cares for his daughters very much. He would do anything for anyone...and he is brilliant and smart to boot ! I hope his day wasn't too bad, he deserves so much more !!!
Note to self : Go to church next Sunday....

If it makes you feel any better, Matt didn't get a great Father's Day either, and on a note from your last post- we can't afford anything. :)

That's a cute picture of you and Tom. I'm glad you guys came over for dessert--that was fun.

Hey Gretch! I love reading your posts. You keep it real my friend. Isn't it funny how we have to shift from thinking of our own dads to our husbands and/or both on Father's Day? I always have a hard time trying to make it special for everyone! Your words about Tom are present enough :) You guys are a great couple!
